It provides information to all aspects of postgraduate research and I particularly like how it includes the different sections from scoping your research to the viva. Postgraduate students will find this text beneficial at any point of their research.
A useful resource enabling students to explore and participate in postgraduate research encountering PGD, MA and PhD levels. The use of activity boxes is useful for testing the students understanding of the content.

This is a very well structured and written book. The exercises and the answers to those exercises are a very effective method to ensure the reader engages with the book rather than skimming across its surface.
Whilst this is applicable for various PG studies the text content supports PhD studies in particular.
